Rodin Villatoro

Rodin is a 4th generation coffee farmer and son to award winning producer Aurelio Villatoro.  Rodin is part of the new generation of producers and has successfully attended university to get degrees in agronomy, agriculture and forestry at the University of San Carlos in Huehuetenango. The dedication he has shown to education and the betterment of the coffee ecosystem with a focus on the plants themselves has put Rodin’s coffee in the top of the field for coffee quality and ecologically safe practices. 

Rodin has shown us what the future of coffee looks like with a very progressive view on the whole industry. The next generation of producers is connected to roaster partners and consumers via social media, has a very deep knowledge of the coffee plant, and understands the whole value chain from seedling to cafe.
